Privacy Policy

This is an English translation for convenience. The German version is the legally binding one. This policy applies to the website tjaxlabs.de. Our apps are covered by their own privacy policies, which are linked in the respective app and on the corresponding product page.

2. Principles

This website is deliberately built in a plain manner. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and no JavaScript. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are integrated. Fonts and all other files are delivered exclusively from our own server; no connection to third-party servers takes place (in particular, no integration of Google Fonts, CDNs, maps, videos or social media elements).

For this reason, no consent under section 25 TDDDG is required for the operation of this website, and no cookie banner is displayed.

3. Accessing the website and server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically processes data transmitted by your browser. This includes in particular:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• name and URL of the file retrieved
• volume of data transferred and notification of whether the retrieval was successful
• browser type and version used, as well as the operating system
• where applicable, the previously visited page (referrer)

Purpose: delivery of the website, ensuring stability and operational security, and defending against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of this website.
Storage period: the log data is deleted after no more than 30 days.

This data is not merged with other data sources. We do not draw any conclusions about your person from this data.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (the “Cloudflare Pages” service). Cloudflare processes the server log files referred to in section 3 on our behalf as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR, on the basis of Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of our agreement with them.

Server location: Cloudflare operates a global network of data centres and serves this website from the geographically nearest location; for requests from Germany this is usually a location within the European Union. Processing of personal data in the United States of America cannot, however, be ruled out.

Transfer to a third country: Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The transfer is therefore based on the European Commission's adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45(1) GDPR. In addition, Cloudflare has incorporated the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR into its Data Processing Addendum.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing this website securely and reliably.

The connection to this website is encrypted using TLS. You can recognise this in the address bar of your browser. Requests made over unencrypted HTTP are redirected automatically to the encrypted connection.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you provide (in particular your name, contact details and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry is directed at the conclusion or performance of a contract; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Storage period: we delete the data as soon as the enquiry has been conclusively handled and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Recipients: our e-mail mailbox is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Processing takes place in the European Union on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Your data is not passed on to any other third parties. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

6. Your rights

You have the following rights against us with regard to your personal data:

• Access to the data we process (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Withdrawal of consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

To exercise these rights, an informal message to kontakt@tjaxlabs.de is sufficient.

7. Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR

Insofar as we process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to such processing. We will then no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other legal remedies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:

9. No automated decision-making

Automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
